Kiltwalk 2017

A grand total of 14 Boozy Cow staff hobbled into their workplaces this morning, after completing a 26 mile walk as part of Edinburgh’s Kiltwalk 2017.

Kiltwalk is a charity event that allows participants to walk for any Scottish charity of their choice. In 2017, with support from Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation, the organisation pledges to donate 140% of contributions directly to the nominated charities. For the teams at The Boozy Cow, who already donate 100% of profits to charity, this was our way of going the extra mile (no pun intended) to make sure we do everything possible to support our 18 charity partners, both in and outside of our restaurants.

Here come the fun facts!

4 – The number of Kiltwalks completed this year by The Boozy Cow and Foundation’s Chairman and Founder, Garreth Wood

2 – The number of Kiltwalks completed this year by our Managing Director, Marketing Manager and Operations Manager

53 – The number of Boozy Cow team members who have participated in Kiltwalks this year

100.4 – Number of Kiltwalk miles covered by Boozy team members this year

£7,172.00 – Total amount raised by The Boozy Cow teams!

£14,344.00 – Total amount that will be donated by The Boozy Cow Foundation, thanks to Garreth Wood’s commitment to double the amount raised by his team!

Massive congratulations to everyone who took part in this year’s Kiltwalks! Your sore wee feet can take comfort in knowing that your efforts will help an enormous difference to those in need.
